The traveling block hook is an integration of traveling block and hook with advantages of small overall size and compact structure, which shortens the combination length of traveling block and hook and is easy to take full advantage of the height of the derrick and to operate. The hydraulic shock absorber of the traveling block hook has a better cushioning effect.

Structure of the traveling block hook

The traveling block hook is made up of pulley shaft, pulley, left and right side plate, barrel, cant hook, hook body and other components. In order to reduce the impact of lifting and unloading, the traveling block hook is equipped with not only mechanical shock absorber but also hydraulic shock absorber. With the damping effect, the impact of lifting and putting down is significantly reduced, so that the operation is more stable. The traveling block hook is provided with a fixing device, through which the hook body can be controlled to rotate. In order that the elevator direction can be fixed while demounting the drilling tool to facilitate the operation of the rigger, the traveling block hook is equipped with the positioning device.
